frangrance you could eat~ demeter

The first time I heard of Demeter Frangrance was on Gwenivere's blog, The Market Darling.  I was intrigued by the bottles she had, Dirt & Grass; what odd scents!  I had to check it out.  Well, it turns out Demeter makes oodles and oodles of amazing and quirky scents!  You seriously need to browse their website and take a look at their selection, it's so fun!
I first got my hands on a few when Mike bought some for me last Christmas.  He grabbed one that I particularly wanted to try-- Earl Grey Tea, along with Egg nog, Patchouli, and Mahogony.  I love them all!  Every one is true to its name by smelling just like; it's awesome.
Other than the amazing selection, another thing that draws me in to Demeter is the fact that their products are 95% natural.  That's a pretty great thing to be able to say, especially when making something like perfume that I would expect to be riddled with chemicals.
When I contacted Demeter about reviewing some of their products, they were smashingly generous, sending me two samples to tell you about!  I had my eyes set on a few "flavors," that sounded simply divine.  The two fragrances I recieved are Sticky Toffee Pudding, and Chocolate Chip Cookie.  oh.  my.  goodness.  Guys, these smell amazing!  I wish you could smell them through your computer screen, because holy moly, I just want to eat them.  In fact, I made goodies to match because they smell so good, and well, it's more fun to show them off with the real thing, hehe.
The Sticky Toffee Pudding smells like warm toffe right out of the oven; it reminds me of being at the fair.  And the Chocolate Chip Cookie smells like, well chocolate chip cookies! haha!  sooo, so good.
I wouldn't consider myself someone who likes perfume.  In fact, I really don't like it, when you think about the typical floral, old lady, burn your nose scents.  These, however, are something I'm totally behind!  There are so many other options; I can't wait to try more!  Here's a good quote from their website that sums up how I feel about frangrance pretty well:

“A person's fragrance "wardrobe" should include more than just designer or classic perfumes. Having a fragrance wardrobe of just designer perfumes is like having a wardrobe of nothing but evening clothes - beautiful but not what you might want for everyday life. You need the comfortable clothes as well.”

- Christopher Brosius, Founder - Demeter Fragrance Library
I'm definitely into the "comfortable clothes" smells. :)
Here are a few pics to make your mouth water...
Awesome fact for you all-- if you like Demeter on Facebook, or follow them on Twitter, they announce a different fragrance each day that you can purchase for 50% off!  Pretty sweet!  I'll be keeping my eye out for my next interesting bottle of awesome!  Thanks Demeter!
